"FAIRY TALE- to call your own"

“AAh! What a story! Awesome ending. Would love to see that again. Actually can watch it over and over again”

Can the same be said for “LIFE”-the real movie which keeps going, with an uncertain end.

In life we do have short span of fairy tales. We live them, enjoy them, cherish them, they end well and that’s it. You never get to see them again.

Two days back a friend of mine landed into one such fairy tale kind of a situation.

Fighting the whole world to meet her prince charming, travelled kilometres and landed into an unknown land. Thanks to technology, prince charming was waiting there to pick her up, well in time. Waiting for her to come, butterflies in stomach. While she was travelling on the longest route of her life, a never ending one at that. Battling through traffic jams, keeping the trip as confidential as possible, finally they saw each other. It was the rebirth of “Love at first sight” for them. Hugging at a public place, a welcome kiss and loads of looking at each other as if the day would never come again.

That happiness which should have lasted for ever (forever is a myth, truly said), was shattered within minutes. Not because their love ceased to exist or anything, but because external factors started acting from all directions. Love, without difficulties, is no love (as bollywood depicts this). Hero hai to villain to hoga hi.

Lekin agar hum sath hain to duniya ki koi bhi taakat hume hila nahi sakti. That’s what they did. They became the support of each other, gathered strength by looking at each other, their presence was their consolation prize. The first hour of the so expected fairy tale meeting underwent its first set back.

Love conquered it! It always does.

Then started the time that they were waiting for. Drive, talking, enjoying each other’s company, looking(without a blink) at each other. Life was good again for both of them. Away from worldly tensions, far from office works, forgetting other people who created problems. Just the two of them, made for each other types. Eyes doing the talking, and they enjoying each other’s presence.

Hours went by, love continued, talks continued, laughters continued. But then, something had to come in between. Prince charming had responsibilities to meet, they had to depart for a few hours. Having the faith, they will be seeing each other soon, they departed.

Hours later, when they met, they couldn’t wait to go into each other’s arms. The good life again. Lunch together, movie together, laughs together, talks together, sharing emotions together, meeting a few new people, drive, photos, enjoyment . Ekdum made for each other.

But as I said, it was a fairy tale situation, it had to end, and that too on a happy note. After all that’s the best part about fairy tales, they always have a “...and they lived happily ever after”. This one didn’t have a happily ever after, but it ended on a very loving note, a passionate good bye hug, and a hope that there will be another fairy tale to narrate, the one that will be just theirs.

Fairy tale ended. Memories created. And back to real life. Job works, humanly tensions, dull monotony of the routine, and the uncertainty mixed with excitement about writing new fables. But then life is not that simple. It never tells us what is going to happen the next minute, forget about years later.

Keep creating your own fairy tales, forget about problems. It’s now or never. Live it, love it, enjoy it!!
